In a faraway kingdom, a peasant girl, Ivy, spends her days tending to her Papa's farm - with the help of her woodland friends! Although she loves her Papa, Ivy dreams of the world beyond her isolated oasis.
Our story opens on the day our beloved Ivy finds herself at a crossroads . . .

THE DIRECTOR
The Princess and the Cactus started production when I was 11 years old. I had just received a Light Table for my birthday, and I was drawing anything and everything. One of my first animations was of a princess looking at a cactus wearing a Top Hat. He's perfect! He looks just like a prince now! But then - the wind blows it right off! She chases after the hat, but then stumbles into a real prince!

Iconic.
15 years later, I got an animation app on my iPad for fun, and decided to redraw her and the cactus again. Just a fun doodle. Well, 3 years later, I have a Short Animated Musical Extravaganza, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It was destiny!
